Is Canva Bulk Create free?
No. Canva Bulk Create is a Pro and Teams feature, not available on Canva Free. There is no unlimited free Bulk Create. Layerre includes a free tier (50 credits/month) for API or Zapier/Make/n8n generation from the same Canva template.
Canva Bulk Create is not free. It ships with Canva Pro and Canva Teams. The Canva Free plan does not include the Bulk Create app.
What people mean by "bulk create free":
- Canva Free: you can design, but you cannot run Bulk Create batches.
- Canva Pro/Teams: Bulk Create is included in the subscription. You still generate inside the editor (CSV upload, download). There is no separate free Bulk Create quota.
- Third-party automation: tools like Layerre import a Canva share link and generate variants without Canva Enterprise. Layerre's free plan is 50 credits/month.
Why the confusion exists:
Canva markets Bulk Create as part of paid Canva, not as a standalone free product. Searches like "bulk create free" and "canva bulk create for free" usually want either a workaround on the Free plan or an API without Enterprise.
Practical options:
- Upgrade to Canva Pro for occasional manual batches (see how to use Bulk Create)
- Stay on Canva Free/Pro for design, import into Layerre for generation (Bulk Create vs API)
- Do not expect Canva Connect Autofill on Free/Pro. That is Enterprise-only (is the Canva API free?)
If you stay on Bulk Create, watch practical limits and how to add photos with image URLs. If you are leaving it, start with Bulk Create alternatives.
